This piece was born during another family paint day when I dragged all my supplies out to the dining room table and let my kids play with mom's fancy paints. I didn't have any grand plan in mind – I just picked up my favorite brush, chose a color, and started swooshing around.
The movement was therapeutic. The process was forgiving. There's something magical about letting your hand follow instinct rather than intention, watching blues and greens swirl together with bursts of pinks, reds, and purples creating these circular, floral-like patterns that seem to float and spin in their own gentle current.
By the end, I had intuitively created one of my favorite pieces. The vibrant colors and swirling motions transport me during long work days – I can get lost in those dreamy, fluid movements that feel like blooms drifting through a peaceful sea.
This painting captures the beauty of letting go, of trusting the process and finding joy in pure movement and color. It's a reminder that sometimes the most meaningful art happens when we stop trying so hard and simply allow ourselves to play. Perfect for spaces that need a dose of serenity and energy, where you want to feel both grounded and uplifted.
